The Children Book Illustrators Guild (CBIG)
put on an event called "Smiles for Sandy Hook" where we invited local
kids and adults to come on and create art for the children of Sandy Hook
school in CT. Hopefully, the art that created will lift their spirits.
Here's an image of some of the art. Scott and Shawn of CBIG deserve
kudos for planning this in only a week.
This is the online portfolio for digital illustrator Franklin Haws. Here you will find artwork for both children and adults. Funny monsters and creatures all created in a fun colorful style. Aviation and automotive art is also represented for those who love cars and planes. Cats and dogs and wildlife have also found a home here on Franklin’s Art Blog. This blog also has links to sites including to my online store at Zazzel and Creatspace where you can buy many Franklin Haws related products.

Here's the last illustration of a book I'm working on called Elephant and the Mouse. The art covers both the left and right page and is the last two pages of the book. Now all I need to do is most of the other illustrations... I wanted to start with the hardest one to get the look down and I hope to get the book done in time (and self published) in time for the Scott County Art Crawl in early Oct.
